Hi Everyone,

I just joined, I used to canoe a lot when I was younger. I was a guide in Algonquin, and canoed every weekend at my parents cottage. After university I moved around a lot because of work. Now, I have settled down, and lo and behold right next to premier canoeing spots. I am less than an hour from Woodland Caribou Provincial Park, and 4 hours from Quetico Provincial Park. Just bought a Souris River Quetico 17, and looking forward to getting back on the water for the first time in about ten years.

Hi, Sounds like you landed in the perfect spot! Don't forget to look at the ELA area for canoeing too! Please post some pictures when the adventures start again! Cheers

I'd be one of those members from Red Lake, welcome aboard. If you're looking for logistical help or information about WCPP let me and I'd be glad to help. Park office is very helpful too.
