I'm back in Ak. just as paddling season started back East, but I did get to see this. Looking out over Turnagain Arm from the Seward highway a few miles south of Anchorage.
Curious about how long you had to wait to have it made. Snyder is no longer making paddles, apparently, but is still accepting repair work on his and Backlund's paddles.
Started in rainy March weather with light spring clouds and sunshine.
Later in the day, we had everything the weather could throw at us. From dark gray to black skies overcast with dense clouds to bright sunshine with snow-white clouds against blue. And then, within minutes, violent gusts of wind, intermittent rain and sleet showers.
Then, out of nowhere, hail, icy cold winds in fierce gusts.
And then silence again, smooth water reflects the clouds and glistens.
a little bit - yes. But this early spring is in the nearby of Cologne - and in this area it is a bit warmer than by my home where the snow was falling.
