Mapping, tracking and tripping vicariously the Marshall Loop, Ontario

Looks like he’s completed his trip. Will await the trip report to fill in “The rest of the story!”

Glad you guys enjoyed following along & I'm sorry to have rushed through the loop. Mosquitoes & Blackflies normally don't care for me but these were so unbelievably bad that I pretty much stayed on the water & paddled all day. Despite that, the bugs certainly ate better than I did this trip.

I've got a ton of pictures to sort through & I'll try to get the TR posted ASAP. I will say that this one did not go (at all) according to plan but it was certainly worth doing. (might even be worth doing again some September when I could do more fishing without being bug food)

As Robin said, I marked the start with a waypoint so I can navigate back there at any time in the future. The other(s?) is/are point(s) of interest of some sort but I'm unsure what they would be until I check the trip notes.

Might wind up being the last trip for the old Ranger (more of that in the TR) but she got me home safely once again.

Glad you guys enjoyed following along

It was an excellent idea, Steve, and I would encourage others who trip with communication devices to link us in if technically possible. It adds to the site not only a thread of interest, but also a sense of ongoing "participation" in the trip.
