Innie. My tent zippers will wear out before the floor and then it is time for a new tent. That said, my next investment will be an optional floor CCS One Plus Lean (with floor accessory). I'm looking forward to added space and a lighter tarp/tent combination.

Outie.
The lightweight, fitted ground sheet has alway been permanently attached to all of my tents.
It is only there to protect the tent floor from puncture and abrasion.
I have never had a hole in my floor or lost the coating ( until the rest of the tent was UV degraded).
Well worth the extra weight and the cost is not really a factor since I make my own out of 1.9 ounce ripstop nylon.
