I love my little White box stove! I carry one all the time whether day hiking for a quick brew-up, or in my ditch kit when tripping. just like everything else there is a learning curve and some safety issues to consider. biggest is try to use it in the shade so you can see the flame. next is have patience- wait for the flame to come out the ports, and wait for it to burn out and cool.
As with any stove, size your pot to the burner- my sierra cup is perfect, and the stove and windscreen fit inside fine.
