This is a raft, but it illustrates how dangerous high water on a river can be, how powerful a reversing souse hole can be to trap any sort of boat including a canoe, and how an inexperienced whitewater paddler has no idea what to do. It's also an interesting rescue with rope bags from above by a kayaker and other guys who were dumped out of the raft, leaving the least experienced rafter helpless and terrified in the sucking, sticking hole.
