Happy New Year to all

I made the effort to get on the water yesterday since it was possible and I had enough motivation to overcome doubts about "borderline" paddling conditions. For me (in Michigan) every minute on the water in January goes a long way towards soothing the soul.

A little colder today but dry and less windy. Hmmm.

Happy New Year. I don't have the nerve (or the gear) to paddle in the winter anymore so I'll have to wait.
