I love tin foil cooking. Going way back Chick and I covered the UP and some Ontario in my old S-10. Had an aluminum Leer cap for that snare drum in the rain effect. The kids love it as well, and to this day we cook up veggies in foil and suck 'em down for the weekend. These and a good supply of pasties got us through many miles of UP backroads.
