I see Mountainman has announced Paddle fest 2025. May 16 to 18 in Old Forge. Might just go down, find someplace to camp, and look at gear.

Haven't been there since before covid. My wife and I went for years , bought lots of gear and a couple canoes. Only stopped going because of her multiple battles with cancer. Sadly, she lost the war. It won't be the same without her but I' headed back to recapture fond and very happy memories.
I have not committed to it yet but if I do, maybe we can meet for lunch.
It would be nice to get a few folks to met up that weekend, I’d like to give it a shot.
GP, very good to hear from you again here. So sorry for your loss. You were one of the inspirations for me to buy my Merc eight years ago.

I hope to be here more often. I have missed this group. I'd be glad to meet up with anybody that might be going.
Wow, I would like to meet up for lunch, love lunchtime, but unfortunately this year we have plans that have us going in a different direction this year.
