This is not my listing.
I considered going to take a look myself. Very tempting, but I'm not yet in the ready-to-care-for a wood canvas canoe stage of my life just yet, so I figured someone else on CT.net might be interested. I did have a short correspondence with the seller and he provided this additional information, but then did not provide the close up photos of the hull material that I requested.
"There are some gaps as I am only a short term owner. Our neighbor sold their home and had to clean out their cellar. It was hanging ther and my guess would be for as long as 15 to 20 years. I don’t know who did the work. I spoke to an old friend in Maine who worked at the company for a couple of years and said he knew the man who wrote the letter following. I showed him details on face time and he said all good. He owns 12 himself with his wife. It looks like it might like a fresh coat of varnish on the rails but not bad for a 103 years old. You are welcome to come look if we can make our schedules jive."
