Unprecedented 7,600 KM North-to-South Traverse of Canada

What a good story, hope they write a book. Nothing better than reading about being on half rations, with polar bears padding around camp.
I like being on these expeditions from the comfort of my big reclining chair, radiant heated floor, warm wool blanket, lap cat, a near at hand refrigerator with thousands of calories of my choosing. Not to mention copious amounts of hot black tea.

The canoe part sounds like the best part to me.

I did a cycle trip in the Western United States. The bicycle is the land equivalent of the canoe, allowing you to move a little easier and transport your gear without carrying it on your back. But the cars and trucks took all the fun out of it. I don't even own a road bike, it's just too dangerous.

I don't think I would enjoy spending lots of time with aggressive bears either.
