Tripper "Hacks"

A little "hack" for the Warbonnet users out there, and maybe other hammockers too, about setting up those little bungee lines that spread out the hammock. If you're on dirt it's easy enough to just stake them to the ground but otherwise you're looking for something to tie off to which often means another cord.

I started connecting them directly to my CCS tarp. It's got all those tie out loops around the perimeter and one on each side is in the right spot for those bungee lines. No extra cords, stakes or knots needed. Just run the looped end of the bungee through a tarp tie out loop and put a stick through the loop in the bungee to keep it from pulling back out. Started doing that about 1 1/2 weeks into my month long trip and it worked great.

Saw hack. I wrap my bow saw in pipe insulation so it floats. Also, pipe foam is working nice as a blade guard.
