New guy here from way down south...
Here are my canoe haulers from the last few years. I still have the trucks, but the Escort Draggin Wagon of Death has moved on to browner pastures. Honestly it was the best hauler, as I had a steel rack made from tubing and welded straight to the roof. Ripping out the flaming headliner afterwards improved the acoustics of the sound system immensely. A real win-win!
Thanks man! It's been a good truck, I've had it for about 12 years now. It's an '85 SR5That gen1 4Runner is awesome!
Welcome. Some great rides there but the classic tripper (IMO) might be that Escort wagon. Easy to fix & they seemed to live forever, if I could find one now, I might trade my Ranger for it.New guy here from way down south...
It was definitely a handy and thrifty ride, I do miss it. Paid $500 for it, drove it for a couple years, put a head gasket on it (these love blowing head gaskets), drove it for a few months and sold it for $1500.Welcome.
