Paddle inscription ideas

I carved a paddle for my daughter -in -law yesterday and want to burn an inscription on it. I think she would like something from the bible but I'm coming up with a blank. Anybody have any ideas for me? It doesn't have to be from the bible, any good quote may fit the bill. Thanks, time is running out.

Thanks for the ideas, I think I'm going to put at least four verses on there, the two from above and two psalms. One is her favorite 34.4, the other is from psalm 23, referencing the still waters." Which I'm going to put on the shaft. I have to practice burning letters tomorrow before I commit to the whole job.

Odyssey, that's a great poem. I'd like to put the whole thing on a paddle so I'd always have something to read out there.
