There’s a new series on YouTube documenting a 1500 mile canoe trip starting in Old Town, Maine, going as far south to NYC, west as far as Syracuse NY, thru Lake Ontario then down the St Lawrence to Quebec City, then south back to Old Town.
The paddlers are for the most part indigenous from around the northeast.

Thanks for bringing this up. I just saw it a while ago but didn't have time to watch the entire video. Will make sure I get back to it. Some of the areas being paddled are essentially in my backyard.

That's all for now. Take care and until next time...be well.

Watched part 2 last night. A bit of a letdown unfortunately. They start up the Hudson and the next we see they're back at Old Town. Bummer.

@clemency - Have to agree with you. After such a wonderful part 1, the concluding episode was a real letdown. Wish they showed more of their trip and the challenges they must have faced going up the Hudson, across NYS and then on down the St. Lawrence. Hopefully there will be a full length film made of the adventure we'll be able to see sometime in the future.

That's all for now. Take care and until next time...be well.

Really liked this.
Each week I read Willem Lange’s weekly column that is on his website. In his younger days he was a canoe trippers extraordinaire. A great story telling author that hits the sweet spot for me.
