Just seen the message... the T-Formex is holding up great... I've ran some class III waters and hit some cross flows that slammed the side of canoe hard into some pointed rocks. it put a small 5" dent/crease on outside side of boat... but didn't damage boat,,, looks mainly. Swift lists the 16' Prospector with vinyl trim at 72 lbs in T-formex, at $2295, vs. 60 lbs for the expedition kevlar (clear coat) at $3295. They note that coloured kevlar boats will weigh 4-5 lbs more.
