Likes and Reaction Scores

My apologies.

I am so unused to the concept, I wasn’t aware of the exact definition. Forgive, please, this old lady.

I’ll try again: The only interactions I have on the internet, besides personal and work email, are this forum and two other specific forums a lot like this one.

Like you, no Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc. Just several bulletin boards.

Luckily, no more work email for me!

I don't "like" every post I read but if there is a particularly salient post or information that's on point, I'll add my like...
In my thinking a "like" is my way of saying "thanks" or "right on" without having the need to actually post my agreement or understanding

Likes are particularly useful for a long post or trip report that someone has put a lot of time and effort into. I don't always have something to say in response, but I really appreciate the photos, content, etc. Don't care for a reaction score.
