Found my way here recently. I was in Winnipeg for the last 16 years, but since Jan. I am a Newfie again.

Lots of backcountry trips this year. Mostly hiking, but some paddling hopefully.

Absolutely. Just waiting for the snow to melt. The Southwest River is close to me. It looks like it may make for a nice trip just from satellite view. I will have to do some research.

It runs from Island Pond to the Northwest Arm.
