I just got back into paddling from a 13 year hiatus, I still have 3 solo Bell canoes in storage but my wife and I are paddling our Old Town Penobscot around Grapevine lake in DFW.

Years ago I paddled and guided on the Edisto in SC.

More Bell canoes getting back on the water I see a trend here. A lot of Old Town tandems too. Welcome back to canoes.

Yes I live between Dallas and Ft Worth. I wish I had a good lightweight tandem. As the Old Town seems to have gained some weight!

The Northstar Polaris looks interesting. I wish they did some different gunnels.

Greetings! My in laws and wife's nieces and nephews live in Dallas. Boy do they want us to move there. Who knows, maybe I will become a snow bunny and stay up northeast in summer and down there in winter. share your tripping down there so I can ummm, take a vacation during my vacation. Take care.
