Wishing everyone a happy and healthy holiday to you and your family. Big thanks to Robin for keeping up this site and to all of those who supported it through the fundraiser. I really enjoy reading up on what others are doing. It's amazing on how I've gone through so many changes in life with outdoor activities with canoe tripping being one of my favorites. I just signed up to be a co leader on an AMC winter paddle in the Pinelands of NJ in February. Will post that when it gets closer for those of you in the area who are interested in joining. Hope to introduce Hot Tenting to some that weekend! Come on Waterspyder and TheIndian, and Moc!

It has been a good year for paddling and tis the season now for gear and canoe route to dance in my head. Happy Holidays to you all, may the wind be at your back, may all your Carries be cleared and well marked, etc, etc... OK time to hit the egg nog.
 
Thanks there Coldfeet, same back at ya. Mrs CT and I will be visiting with 5 of our G'Kids Christmas Day, then later in the week it's up to Maine to try to talk some sense into my 2 little Maineiac's my daughter/SIL are raising up there. Great times we live in I tell ya!

Merry Christmas!!! Travel safe and enjoy your time with family and friends. I just realized that I wasn't a very good little boy this year... doesn't appear that I'll be getting a shiny new canoe under the tree. I did, however, get an all expenses paid trip to Buffalo General Hospital courtesy of Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Medicare, not what I wanted but surely what I needed!

Thanks to all of you for making the time I spend here enjoyable.

Happy New to everyone, I walked outside to run the dogs one last time tonight and found a stray car on the lawn. Some woman failed to stop coming down the hill. She left the car, walked home, and her boyfriend gave her a couple of drinks to settle her nerves, from what the State Police told me.

BUT, she forgot to pull one of the empties out of the car. BUSTED!
