My favorite gift for today was spending the day with my 3 young grandchildren, their parents and my loved one who I've been with for over 30 years. I am at the point where materials goods mean a little but not a lot, it's family and the time spent with them that holds the most cherished moments.
I am also grateful to have taken over as the overseer of this site. To me this is also one of the best gifts I could have ever received and I thank Robin for keeping it up and going and allowing me to help keeping things going here. So, tonight I will tilt one in honor of Robin and to all of you for adding with your wisdom, experiences, opinions and humor. We all are gifted by the friendships we've found with each other whether it be in person or online here at CanoeTripping!
OK, I did come home with a free Lincoln Hidden Pond 14' canoe for a rebuild and resale in the spring. I gawd what a wide little canoe!
May this next year treat us well and keep us all safe!
