I needed more shop stock of peel ply, and ordered some experimental lengths of the carbon and kevlar tape you mentioned in another thread.

Should be fun to experiment with carbon and kevlar tapes.

I would appreciate suggested applications for either selvage edge material from the composite material folks, especially in combination with E-glass tapes?

A tip I learned from Muskrat, you might want to try ,is buy 100% Polyester lining. I bought some at Wally World, for $2 a yard. very fine tightly woven lining, like they use for lining coats.

I was leary of trying it, but it worked fine. It's a little harder to pull from cured epoxy, than the $8 a yard treated Peel Ply. I have quite a bit of it now. Some in white, and some in pink. Color doesn't really matter, except I felt the white seemed a little more transparent during application.

I don't use a lot of Peel Ply, just for small items, and to help feather seams, and overlaps.

I think that he meant that he had already ordered the peel-ply along with the tape... you can treat liner fabric with silicone surface lubricant spray for an easier release..
