Very ice looking rifle! As for a load, my son has a .243 Remmngton youth model. With factory Winchester 100 grain shells, it shoots 3/4 inch groups at 100 yards. This year he took a nub buck at 200 yards ... Blew through the shoulder blade and cut the spine in half. It is a very gentle gun to shoot but he has dropped several deer in their tracks.
