Since this site won't let me access Mike's book review thread I'll enter through a back door so to speak.
As we all know by now you can't tell a book by it's cover. Dust jacket and liner notes are often insufficient. While nobody likes a spoiler Mike's idea is not misplaced.
A brief unbiased review is helpful.
For those of you perusing book titles and authors and wishing reader reviews I recommend https://www.goodreads.
I frequently search out new books online and rely on brief overviews of subject and plot. Goodreads usually provides this.
