That's great! I am often confused by folks who have read about a boat being 'tippy' and not take into account perspective. I think kayakers adapt more quickly to narrow solo canoe hulls.

Happy to see you enjoying your new canoe. Your description of Pine Grove sounds like a great paddle. I fish the Salmon River quite often, I'll have to check it out.

Another fantastic day in the canoe today . This time up the Black river from Dexter NY through the gorge and up to the Brownville Bridge. 13 yaks and canoes enjoyed beautiful dramatic stacked stone walls and wide open Lilly pad patches with red tailed hawks and great blue herons under gorgeous blue skies. Loving the BZ. I tried some different paddles today. Still figuring out what type to invest in. We followed the paddle with ice cream at Liklckity Split. Does a summer day get any better? BZG
