Black River

Paddled the Black River for the first time today. Launched in South Haven, MI just upstream from Lake Michigan amid big boats docked by condos. Best boat name I saw was QWICHERBICHN. Paddled up the North Branch first and eventually turned around due to downfall blocking the river. Then paddled up the South Branch and found myself on a Michigan Heritage Water Trail. Overall covered 15-20 miles in about 6.5 hours.

I hope to take many similar trips on Wisconsin streams now. Great boat name, especially for those who've taken spoilt millennials tripping. I may suggest it for my son's next sailboat.
