My son in Connecticut picked up this RX Explorer this week, I’m going to replace the gunnels and build new webbed seats/thwarts as soon as I can get it up here to Maine.

I saw this advertised online...Great price!
Someone put the listing on Facebook solo canoe (IIRC), I saw it was in Riverton, Ct., right down the road from my son. Turns out my son knows the guy, sent a message and the guy held it for Dan till he could get there to pick it up.
Normally, a royalex canoe in Riverton is beat up from running the rocky Farmington River that runs right thru town, this one has little wear, a good find.
