In 2012 I was on vacation in Ottawa. My friends gave me their canoe so I got some foam blocks and rope and put it on top of my YARIS!!!
I got a lot of strange looks, thumbs up and horn honks as I traveled through Quebec and New Brunswick back to Nova Scotia.
Some friends asked my why I'd do such a thing? I replied, "Because, hey, free canoe!"
I don't think there's such thing as too hardcore.
