There are two new ( to me) maps of the Allagash that are from Trails Illustrated. They are pricey at twelve bucks each but waterproof. Its hard to find anymore the single Tyvek map put out by DeLorme. All have launches and campsites and trails well marked.

I just got the South as it marks paths and gates well from Johnson Stream to Allagash Lake to Round Pond and Ciss stream and Caucomgamoc Lake and Chesuncook..my Allagash area trip at the end of the month!
The new public boat launch in Chesuncook Village as well as road access for my truck means we can exit at the village
