Right after thanksgiving (Canadian), myself and two buddies were able to get out on a 4-day trip down the Petawawa River in Algonquin Park.
Our plan was to start at Lake Travers and head to McManus Lake with two nights spent at the Crooked Chute ranger cabin.
We were going to hit as many rapids along the way, depending on water levels, and enjoy our last few nights in the park before the snow flies.
See the attached report, and three videos below if you are interested.
Day 1: Travers to Crooked Chute Cabin
Day 2: Rest Day at Crooked Chute Cabin
Day 3 and 4: Crooked Chute to Whitson, Whiston to McManus
Cheers,
Evan
