"Rivers are a vital part of the natural environment and provide us with essential resources such as drinking water, irrigation for crops, and recreation. But not all rivers are created equal – some can be quite cold! In this blog post, we’ll explore 13 of the coldest rivers in the United States."

Egad, more ridiculous geographical errors: "The Hudson River . . . itself runs through several states including New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts & Vermont before emptying into The Atlantic Ocean near Manhattan Island."

No, it doesn't. The Hudson runs only through New York and along the boundary of New Jersey.

Not sure I trust this website anymore, but this article from it says the Hudson is the deepest river in the U.S.

What, no coldest rivers in MN, WI, MI, ND, NY, VT, NH or Maine? Lots of other states probably have cold rivers. Seems to me a completely inaccurate list by someone needing to come up with a story.
The Chena River that runs through Fairbanks has Chena Hot Springs that runs into it. A huge power plant that discharges hot water into it.
Yes these rivers are all beautiful, but doubt that they are necessarily the top 13 coldest.

-1c is not 33 F
And any river at 28 degrees and liquid is stuffed with chemicals
This article is total
hooey

I agree the article was bogus. The Chena River has a campground with a swimming beach on it. Were any of the rivers mentioned even glacial rivers? There was no mention of the Kenai, Susitna or even the Yukon, I would think they have lower average temperatures. It was also surprising that the Rio Grande made the list.

Although mostly a Canadian river, the Alsek flows into US. Looks sorta cold (that's a glacier in the background).

And then there's the Copper River in Alaska (where you get your salmon)....

The putin for the Kennicott River, a popular whitewater boating river up there, is less than a kilometer from the snout of the Kennicott Glacier. But then Alaska is not considered the U.S.!

Northern rivers are all cold. Rivers that run in the spring mostly from snow melt are cold. Many are around 40-42 degrees right now in the West. Take articles like this as fiction.
