Getting closer to finishing this off. It became strictly a cooler. It has 1” of insulation on the sides, with 2” on the top and bottom. Epoxy and glass is all done. Need to sand and varnish.
Looks awesome! Love the cup holders on the top, great idea! Where did you pick up the bungee style closing straps?

I thought they kind of looked like Jeep hood latches. Great job! Have you considered making a couple of simple stands for when on land? Something like a barrel stand.
Thanks! Yes, they do resemble Jeep latches, great eye, never even thought of that. I thought about a stand, but don’t think I’m going to make one. Planning on running the Missouri River Breaks in May, get to see how the cooler works then.
First paddle of the season. Took the cooler along to see how it fit with myself and it in the boat. Seemed to be fine, the big test will be next month when I take it on a week long trip through the Missouri River Breaks.

Very nice and the All Day IPA in the cupholder looks like it fits right in (assuming they haven't changed their label).
It holds 42 beers with ice. That’s probably all that will go in it. The rest of my gear will go in my Frost River packs.
