Paddle-Through McDonalds!

Before you get too excited, it's in Germany, so most of us likely won't be able to visit, but I still thought you all would get a kick out of this. It's a short video, only about two and a half minutes long. I have heard that there is a restaurant or bar (maybe both?) in Spokane that can be accessed from the water for paddlers but I can't find any specifics.

I have always fantasized about passing under the porch of The Left Bank paddling through Saranac Lake and having them lower down a takeout dinner. One of my favorite places to sit and eat.

Best we can do around here is a Dunkin (Donuts) next to the Assabet River in West Concord, MA. You do need to get out of your boat to walk over, but its a nice place to take a break. 4 or 5 guys show up in dry suits and you get some interesting looks from the locals.

Several times we have taken booze cruises by canoe in downtown Milwaukee on the river, stopping at riverside micro breweries. This very popular with power boaters on summer weekends, so we would go on weekdays.

Maine also had a paddle through McDonald's (temporarily.) Joking of course, pic is from Farmington during the 2023 flood.
