Nice find, Robin. I wouldn't have taken you for an Instagram guy. Anyway, even though I don't have an IG account, I can see a few videos of Josef Hegart to tell he's an excellent paddler as well as craftsman, using paddles @Patrick Corry should make. Here he is demonstrating a running bow pry (or "jam" or "wedge"):
Yes, I’m an IG guy. Beavertail100, I have over 1500 followers. What I like about IG is that I have fine tuned my algorithms to my interests, I.e., wood canvas canoes, canvas tents, traditional gear, traditional canoe camping, 18 wheelers, old pick up trucks, Vietnam war. I still visit Canoetripping as much, but I post more on IG.
