Just back from another great one. Lots of solos, some which I have never seen. Which i had paddled the original Merlin.

Looking forward to hearing your comments on your new boat and how it compares to your other boats.

I had a Kunz Merlin many years ago. I think you would find that it feels like it has more skin friction than your Nomad and is also less maneuverable...possibly a touch faster if you're willing to spend the energy.
 
My Colden Nomad was possibly the most tried out boat there. I even got a cash offer for it.
 
Yep, my Nomad got some new patina on a Stillwater trip this spring.
