Anyone ever done this?!?

Was up here this past weekend on a small trip to test some gear and a "new" shoulder. Lots of rain and horrible black flies so drove a bit to check out the Vermilion river.

Completely out of my league to talk whitewater but had to post this as I cannot envision anyone coming out the other end alive. Class 4-5. We ran out if time to see it but there is a class 6 adjacent.

nah, I'd think the paddler would (eventually?) pop up in one piece. I was thinking food barrel, packs, paddles... typical floating yard sale stuff when we dump.

Stuff like that is the realm of adrenaline junkies with more testosterone than common sense.
