Used with a pair of Seal skins (or similar) and a good water shoe, these are my new wader! As lite as a flannel shirt, comfortable fit and plenty affordable. I’ll wear my Piragas as an over-pant and have much greater mobility And a lot less weight to drag thru a stream. At 72, a few hours in faster current wears me out. The wife asked me “what’s that suit scuba divers wear” and i took it from there. These are 1.5 mm but i see them clear down to .5 mm and up to what ever you'd want.
