Mike Kinziger recently published his book "Alone in a Canoe: One Man, One Canoe, Five Solo Journeys". I met Mike last September in the Quetico on a solo trip of my own. After I hadn't seen anybody for the previous 5 days, all of a sudden another solo canoe appears on the far end of Baird Lake coming towards me. It was Mike. I have read some of Mikes well written trip reports in the past and I'm looking forward to reading his book. Search the title or his name on Amazon and you'll be able to find it for purchase. [Have to say I laughed at the mountains in the background of the first poster; there's a big difference between western Ontario and western Canada! You just know the editor or graphic artist in charge of layout heard the word Canada and thought "ice covered mountains!" ]
