Lows Lake this weekend

Leaving on a last minute 4 day camp at Low's with the wall tent. Sorry about the earlier plans falling apart, life happens. I didn't know I could do this weekend till yesterday.

Supposed to be nice this weekend, going to try and make the best of it. Green wood canvas canoe if your in the area.

Glad to see you are all healed. What day are going up, I assume you left already. Never know I just may make it up.

Have a wonderful time. The temps look to be in the upper 60s and the sun is supposed to shine through to at least late on Monday. If you really luck you there'll be no wind to contend with either. Enjoy!

Just got home, great trip, no wind, warm sunny days, cold nights, wood stove in the wall tent was cookin', but I let it burn out at bed time and my sleeping bag is not too good, I need to work on that.
I was the first canoe camper for 2016 according to the log book
I used my cart and walked the 3/4 mile in to the lower dam.
No booze or beer, done with that. No cigars either...very boring guy these days....ha.
I saw 3 other canoes the 4 days there, one guy with a kid paddled right down the center of the lake, if they went in they would have never made it to shore. The water was ice cold.

We'll be up that way in the next week or two. It'll be late for our first spring trip, thinking we'll get a shot of the summer mtn traffic and a greeting from early blackflies and mosquitos too. Glad to hear that everything (minus the good highlights of the day!) went well. I am looking around for a breakdown wood stove for one of my tents, that would come in handy if needed.
