I used to so a fair amount of canoeing but got deep into work and raising kids and......Now that I'm deep into retirement and not living near the water, I'm more into getting ready to downsize and decide on a retirement site. This looks like a great group of down-to-earth canoe enthusiasts who would be a perfect second or third home for my goods that deserve to get wet on a regular basis! And just reading some of your threads is good inspiration. Or maybe we retire to a waterfront location?? Hmmmmm.....

Welcome. I can't imagine that you could go wrong with a location near woods and water. My retirement plan is to wear out as much gear as possible.
