Hello all, from the land of many kayaks, and fewer canoes. Father of 2 and husband of 1, now rediscovering a family thing for canoes, and hoping to get my wife and kids to drink the same Kool-Aid.

Welcome and have fun, I'm just north of you up in the Yukon, father of one 7 years old and we petty much live to paddle we did about 30 days of paddling so far this year, and the wife is on a 8 day trip with her grade 10 students!! So I guess I can say that we fell in the "Kool-aid" all together...

I paddle a Clipper Tripper S in fg. Not super light, but it fit the budget and the bill as a trippable, but also solo-capable boat. Won't be hitting any Class 3 with it (on purpose), but it makes a nice family day ride, and did a fine job on the Main Lakes Chain for my son and I in July. Will get some pics posted of what we've seen so far soon.
