Paddled this local river for the first time recently. Nice rural put-in and had the river to myself.
It's a small river and it's low.
Always enjoy an abandoned railroad bridge.
This turtle just didn't want to give up his spot even as I had to scrape my way across the log he was on just a few feet away.
I'll definitely go back but may wait until Spring.
