Dog days of late Spring

Had a pretty good day yesterday. First we went to a nice big park that we had to ourselves.

Then we go paddling on a small isolated lake attached to the park.

Did a little bird watching. Can you spot the green heron?

Then a walk down to the river to play in the mud.

Then with the dog satisfied, down to the beach for the sunset which didn't work out too well with the fog rolling in.

So off to a better vantage point
