I've had about a half gallon of System Three's Clear Coat Resin sitting around for years. The Hardener went bad years ago, but I kept the resin around. Thinking I'd just order some fresh hardener.
Well the other day, I got to looking and found about a cup of RAKAS 350 Non-blush hardener, that was extra. I must have short changed a few batches of hardener.
So, I mixed up a small test batch of Clear Coat Resin and RAKAS 350 hardener. The potlife seemed reasonable, and the next day it was hard as a rock. It was a light amber color.
I guess I will save these two, and use them for gluing situations.
Just wondering if anyone else has tried a similar test ?
