Come on cooler weather! This is a morning paddle my wife frequently due during spring and fall when the weather permits. This Clinch River winds its way through the hills of southern Virginia and into Tennessee. We put in at a little place called Kyles Ford. There is a store/outfitter there that offers shuttle service and canoe rental. It's a small business, I've never used their services, yet. Anyhow we paddle up stream a couple of miles, and enjoy the scenery and any wildlife. In one picture we paddle up to a deer that was standing in the middle shallows.
