Who else is in favor of large canoe for tandem tripping? I find that they provide not only space but a sense of security on large lakes and rivers. Here are some photos of my new Nova Craft 18' Prospector in the tuff stuff lay up.

We have a Wenonah Odyssey and a Souris River Wilderness 18. Both in Kevlar.
We do big water like Lake Superior. And the occasional groover required trip. The toilet requires extra space.
We used the SR on our Bowron Lakes trip. Was handy to be able to fit the cart in without having to disassemble it and fold it up
