We did a float on the Little Miami today. The public landings were packed. River had plenty of kayakers even though the outfitters are still closed. Very pretty day on the river. Only last half mile smelled like phosphates after passing sewage treatment plant. First time paddling the Phoenix without dog. Lots of fun on swifts. Turns on a dime and responds to leaning well. Turned around in some fast water when I hit a wall of down trees. Don't think I could have done that in my Argosy, at least as easily. I gue ss it will be a no dog river boat.
