I found plenty of links via a Google search. It looks like they may not be operating currently. The last address was in the Shawinigan area and from what I can discern they were only making paddles in recent times (recent = 15 - 20 years ago).

They had a website at one time but it's no longer available, there is a phone number that might still work (tel:+18195384058)

Trailhead are still showing their paddles as available:

Thank you for the information. I too found many links to their paddles, but I would really like to know more about when they made canoes. I'm 72 and I had a here on that was close to my age. Yesterday I missed a chance to purchase a chestnut of similar vintage, so now I have this one

I'm guessing that Alcide was the father, the current paddles made by his Son, that is the person who could probably fill you in on the history of the boat making period.

Mando Dave, welcome to site membership! Feel free to ask any questions and to post messages, photos and videos, and to start threads, in our many forums. Please read Welcome to CanoeTripping and Site Rules! Also, because canoeing is a geographic sport, please add your location to the Account Details page in your profile, which will cause it to show under your avatar as a clickable map link. Many of the site's technical features are explained in Features: Help and How-To Running Thread. We look forward to your participation in our canoe community.

I have no familiarity with this brand of canoe. I'm moving the thread to the Wood and Bark Canoes forum where it might get more visibility.

It seems that both father and son raced canoes at one time.

Stopped producing canoes circa 2017 when a fire took the shop down to the ground. Stopped making paddles as of August the 8th. of this year.
