    Pain relief

I'll usually pop a couple of ibuprofen if I need it, but that's usually for a headache if anything. I've had some pretty bad tennis elbow in the past and I used DMSO topically on it and I'm convinced that's what cured it. I get my DMSO from the tractor supply place in the horse aisle for a...

Chance to check out Swift canoes - Madison WI, 5-13-17

I sure would like to do an apples to apples comparison of a Swift prospector to a NovaCraft prospector someday.

    Leech removal?

I'm a salt guy. I always seem to manage to get a few and the wife brings along a separate shaker just for the leeches.

    alcohol stove fuel (Trangia)

I'm a fan of denatured alcohol aka marine stove fuel. Burns clean, is reasonably cheap, and I can keep it in an empty pop bottle for bringing on a trip.

    Sun Hat

I've fixed a floppy brim before by making a tiny slit in the edge of the brim and forcing a piece of weed wacker string around the outside edge. Works fine, especially if its the only drawback of your current hat.

What's happening in your shop this winter?

Thank you. I'm from MI and have been going to the UP all my life. I've been wanting to do the rock coat rack thing for some time and just couldn't come up with what to stick them to, then we sort of ended up with the cutting board with otherwise dubious utility and I thought, why not?

What's happening in your shop this winter?

I just made this "experimental" coat rack. Epoxied some rocks from Lake Superior to some dowels then epoxied the dowels into this bamboo cutting board shaped like MI's U.P. I didn't even make the cutting board, basically just glued some rocks to it. The experimental part is whether the epoxy...
