Funny that I never considered naming my canoes, as I name my vehicles. My last motorcycle was Bucky The Thunder Horse, may he rest in peace. Unfortunately I was riding him when he went to the last round up. I guess my Nova Crafts already came with names, Bob and Pal.

My tripping has been shoulder seasons. On a trip I wear Chota Mukluks in canoe and on portage trails. In camp I wear moccasins. Summer day trips I wear Chaco sandals.

I bought one at Canoecopia years ago as an impulse purchase. I have never worn it yet. I always reach for my Filson hat.
